Dying for a Living (2023)

Dying for a Living has earned international recognition, winning Best Picture for its HDR and AI-driven visuals that deliver richer color and detail. National Commercial - Fintech Brand

CHALLENGE

Finance is often portrayed as cold, corporate, and intimidating—leaving people feeling more like case numbers than humans. We needed to shift that perception and create something national in scale that felt cinematic, empathetic, and modern.

STRATEGY

Use Unreal Engine virtual production with live-action performances to make a stressful financial journey feel both human and larger than life. By combining photoreal environments, motion graphics, and data-driven visuals, we transformed a traditionally dry category into an emotional narrative.

IDEA

Create a filmic story that connects through emotion and memory, using larger than life piggy banks and a catchy tune to spark nostalgia while positioning the brand as modern, real, human, and unforgettable. 

THE SHOOT

The shoot combined full-frame cinematography with real-time 3D set extensions, giving us the scale of a big-budget spot with the agility of a lean production. We cut multiple versions for broadcast, social, and digital—:30 hero cuts, :15 spots, and verticals—each tailored to the platform.

THE RESULT

An agile production that fused cutting-edge virtual tools with cinematic storytelling to deliver studio-quality result—bold visuals, fast turnaround, and a story that stood out in one of the noisiest markets out there.
